Ms. Jocelyn Cortez
Science
I was born in Los Angeles, California but raised in here Dallas. I graduated from The University of North Texas with a B.S.in 4-8 Science Education. Throughout my time at UNT, I was able to join the Teach North Texas program which allowed me to gain experience in the classroom while working on my bachelors degree. It was through this program that I found my passion for teaching middle school.
Science has always been my favorite subject, and I carry the love I have for it into my classroom every day. I also come from a family of educators who have instilled in me the power of education.
This is my fourth year at TAG in PG, and I am excited to continue sharing my passion for Science/Knowledge to my students.
When I am not at school I like to travel, spend time with my family, my rescue dogs, and my pet bearded dragon.
